Grounds

The club was originally based in Dartmouth Square. In the 1930s, the club moved to Cherryfield in

and played on a pitch which was actually a field at the back of one of the club member's houses. In the mid1940s the club moved to the grounds of the Leinster Branch of the
Irish Hockey Union Hockey Ireland, previously known as the Irish Hockey Association, is the governing body for field hockey in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It is responsible for organising both the Ireland men's national field hockey team and t ...
in Templeogue, near Ballyboden St. Enda's GAA. During the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s the club remained at the Leinster Branch grounds, sharing the six pitches there with four other clubs. When the Leinster Branch grounds were sold for development in the early 1980s the club was homeless again. The
